CONDICIONES DE USO

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. COMPANY INFORMATION

These Terms and Conditions govern tours and experiences offered by Paradox Experience, S.E.P. (“Paradox Experience,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at Viajeros Hostel, Coworking Area, Office 3, San Felipe, Panama City, Republic of Panama. Legal and customer-service inquiries may be sent to gerencia@paradoxstudio.info.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By visiting our website, booking an experience, making a payment, or participating in a tour, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. The adult who makes a booking accepts these terms for all participants included in that booking and is responsible for sharing them with the group.

3. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed when the customer receives a booking confirmation. Online bookings are managed through Bókun, and payments are processed through PayPal. These third parties may apply their own terms and privacy practices.

Prices are shown in the currency indicated during checkout. The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate booking, contact, participant, accessibility, and dietary information. Any correction should be requested as soon as possible by contacting us.

4. CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

A customer may cancel an activity and receive a refund when the cancellation is submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.

Refunds are issued through the original payment method. The time required for the funds to appear may depend on Bókun, PayPal, the customer’s bank, or card issuer.

5. LATE ARRIVALS AND NO-SHOWS

Participants must arrive at the stated meeting point at the time specified in the booking confirmation. No refunds are provided for no-shows or late arrivals. A late participant may be unable to join once the tour has departed, and no refund or partial refund will be due for missed portions of an activity.

6. CANCELLATIONS BY PARADOX EXPERIENCE

Safety is our priority. We may cancel an experience because of unsafe weather, security concerns, guide or equipment unavailability, operational problems, failure to reach the required minimum number of participants, or other circumstances that make the activity unsafe or impracticable.

When Paradox Experience cancels an activity, the customer may choose a full refund of the amount paid for the affected activity or, when available and mutually agreed, an alternative date. We are not responsible for additional travel, accommodation, transportation, or other costs incurred by a participant.

7. ITINERARIES AND CHANGES

Published descriptions, routes, stops, tastings, schedules, and durations are reasonable plans and may change because of weather, traffic, market operations, local closures, safety, availability, or circumstances outside our control. We may make reasonable substitutions or route changes while preserving the nature and quality of the experience whenever possible.

8. PARTICIPATION, HEALTH, ACCESSIBILITY, AND DIETARY INFORMATION

Participants are responsible for assessing whether an experience is appropriate for their physical condition and abilities. Tour pages describe expected duration, difficulty, walking or cycling requirements, and accessibility considerations.

Participants must inform us before booking of relevant mobility needs, allergies, dietary restrictions, pregnancy, medical conditions, or other circumstances that may affect safe participation. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed needs but cannot guarantee that every market, restaurant, route, vehicle, or public space will be accessible or free from allergens.

9. MINORS

Minors may participate only when accompanied and supervised throughout the experience by a responsible adult. The accompanying adult is responsible for the minor’s conduct, safety, compliance with guide instructions, and suitability for the selected activity.

10. SAFETY, CONDUCT, AND EQUIPMENT

Participants must follow all reasonable instructions given by guides and staff. Harassment, dangerous conduct, illegal activity, or behavior that risks the safety or enjoyment of others is not permitted.

A participant who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, refuses safety instructions, or behaves dangerously may be denied participation or removed from the activity without a refund.

For cycling experiences, participants must use the safety equipment provided, follow traffic and guide instructions, and operate bicycles responsibly. Participants may be responsible for damage caused by intentional, reckless, or negligent misuse of equipment.

11. FOOD, DRINKS, AND ALLERGIES

Food tours may include products prepared or served by independent markets, restaurants, and vendors. Although we communicate disclosed restrictions when reasonably possible, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or eliminate all risk of cross-contact. Participants with severe allergies should contact us before booking and make their own informed decision about participation.

Alcoholic beverages, when available, are offered only to participants who meet the applicable legal drinking age. Identification may be required.

12. PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO

Photographs or videos may be taken during experiences for documentary, promotional, website, and social-media purposes. Participants who do not wish to appear should notify us in writing before the activity or inform the guide before recording begins. We will make reasonable efforts to respect opt-out requests.

Requests concerning an identifiable image may be sent to gerencia@paradoxstudio.info and will be evaluated in accordance with applicable privacy law.

13. PERSONAL PROPERTY

Participants are responsible for their phones, cameras, bags, documents, money, and other belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Paradox Experience is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless directly caused by our proven negligence.

14. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Outdoor, walking, cycling, food, and urban activities involve ordinary risks, including traffic, uneven surfaces, weather, crowds, food reactions, falls, and interaction with third-party venues. Participants agree to exercise reasonable care and follow safety instructions.

To the fullest extent permitted by Panamanian law, Paradox Experience is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for acts and omissions of independent venues and service providers outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, or negligence where applicable law prohibits exclusion.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website’s original text, photographs, videos, branding, tour descriptions, designs, and other materials belong to Paradox Experience or are used with permission. They may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially used without prior written authorization.

16. PRIVACY

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking through Bókun or paying through PayPal, customers also interact directly with those providers and should review their respective privacy policies.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. The parties should first attempt to resolve any concern in good faith by contacting gerencia@paradoxstudio.info. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Panama City, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional rules that apply.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The version published on this page applies from the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes will not retroactively reduce rights already acquired under a confirmed booking unless required by law.
